Rob was most recently Vice President of Performance Development at Evergreen Investments (Wachovia Corporation), a Boston-based investment company. In that capacity he was responsible for developing consistent leadership practices and organization development initiatives that resulted in Employer of Choice status for Evergreen. Rob is also the founder and principal consultant at RVB and Associates. The new firm offers a range of consulting services focused on linking management and leadership development to business strategy for achieving competitive advantage.

Before going to Evergreen in 2001, Rob spent 6½ years at State Street Corporation. Working as a Program Manager in the State Street Institute he was responsible for the education and development of mid- to senior-level managers in the US, UK and Europe. Rob was coach to State Street’s global leaders at all levels of the organization on a range of performance/strategic business issues.

Rob’s early career included training and development positions at Sungard/NCS and Fidelity Investments, securities operations and mutual funds positions at The Boston Company, now Mellon Financial. His early real-time experience in Financial Services, Information Technology and leadership roles in training and development make Rob uniquely qualified to assist clients in the formulation and execution of development strategies..

Rob holds a BSBA degree in Finance from Suffolk University, Boston, MA; an M.Ed. from Boston University, and a Certificate of Graduate Studies in Organizational Development from Leslie University, Graduate School of Management in Cambridge, MA.
